About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent Med Surg Oncology opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida. In this role, you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You will be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or patient care issues. Identify expected outcomes for individualized plans of care. Act as an advocate for patient safety at all times. Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment. Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and treatments while supporting patients and families throughout their stay. COMPENSATION AND DIFFERENTIALS: Hourly pay based on experience: $27.72 per hour (early career) $33.00 per hour (approximately 5 years) $36.30 per hour (approximately 10 years) $39.60 per hour (15+ years) Shift Differentials: $3.00 per hour for nights $2.00 per hour for weekends

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care experience is strongly preferred.
• LTAC experience will be considered.
• BSN preferred.
