About The Position

Responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within a patient care unit, including direct and indirect perioperative care. This position performs preadmission testing and preoperative and postoperative care based on departmental needs, training, competence, and skill. This role manages and supervises related clinical activities. In addition, this position supervises and directs the tasks of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Additionally, this role requires flexibility in scheduling on an as-needed basis to meet departmental operational needs. Joining AdventHealth is about being part of something bigger. Requirements

Associate's of Nursing [Required]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Responsibilities

Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
