Performs initial assessment utilizing professional nursing knowledge and skills. Appropriately assess for: a. physical & psychosocial emotional needs b. pain level c. barriers to learning d. educational learning needs e. discharge needs f. age related needs g. issues related to assault or abuse Contributes to unit and department problem solving and issue resolution. Communicates effectively and contributes to positive unit and interdepartmental relationships. Maintains a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance, wears prescribed departmental uniform, wears identification name badge. Arrives punctually, takes appropriate time for breaks, uses sick time
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
- One to two years clinical nursing experience. , upon hire and The experience requirement is waived for new Grad Nurses selected for a New Grad Orientation program.
- Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
