About The Position

The MDS Assistant is responsible for the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Registered Nurse RN)
  • Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care or geriatric nursing setting
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
  • Attention to detail and strong clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to develop plans of care that are consistent with the resident’s needs
  • Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years of experience in MDS completion preferred
