RN, Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice- Per Diem
About The Position
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices is looking for an experienced RN with Women's Health experience to join the team ! Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks. Provide clinical support patients seen by perinatologists Establishes plan of care, sets priorities and implements the plan of care with patient/family and team/provider input. Develops patient trust and engages the patient/ family in care and treatment. Understands social and cultural differences that might impede patient care Perform daily scheduled patient nurse visits; Monitor/work all clinical portal messages May assists in visits and procedures for patients seeking abortion services or services for pregnancy loss such as collecting supplies, printing consents, organizing instruments, medications, and/or assisting during insertion of cervical dilators for surgical abortion procedures
Requirements
- Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.
- Minimum of 2 -3 years of nursing experience, women's health nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks/priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diploma in Nursing
