About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced RN Manager to lead the Trauma Program for a permanent opportunity in Manchester, New Hampshire. The RN Manager of the Trauma Program is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a cost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families throughout the full continuum of care. This role serves as a key liaison between the hospital and EMS providers, fire services, ambulance services, and law enforcement agencies, while maintaining close collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director and Emergency Services leadership. The Trauma Program Manager develops and maintains relationships with the EMS Medical Director and New Hampshire State trauma authorities, participates in trauma-related committees, and ensures compliance with state and national trauma standards. This role leads trauma program policy development, oversees quality assurance and performance improvement activities, maintains trauma registry data, and coordinates preparation for statewide and American College of Surgeons trauma designation site visits. Responsibilities include concurrent review of trauma medical records, identification and implementation of corrective action plans, maintaining current trauma care knowledge and certifications, responding to trauma team activations during work hours, assisting Emergency Department leadership with hospital initiatives, and overseeing compliance with the NH TEMSIS computerized Patient Care Reporting system. Compensation for this role is based on experience and ranges from $47.30 to $65.20 per hour. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements

  • Nursing degree required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of RECENT experience caring for trauma patients in an acute care setting required.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire required.
  • Current certifications required: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC

Nice To Haves

  • CEN certification preferred.
