About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and inspiring Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to lead our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at our Waxahachie campus. The RN Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the PCU. This role ensures high-quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and achievement of departmental and organizational goals. You are crucial as Manager of Nursing Registered Nurse 1 in creating a supportive, healthy space for staff. You play a key role in planning, policy formation, resource allocation, and improvement efforts. Designing educational programs and providing nursing care is also essential.

Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Leadership experience
  • Strong clinical background, preferably in PCU or acute care settings
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is needed for this role.
  • A minimum of (3) three years' relevant experience is desired.
  • Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of starting the job.
