Requirements

  • A current Alaska nursing license or ability to obtain one prior to start date.
  • Proven clinical leadership experience, ideally in a healthcare or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the treatment team and patients.
  • Dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team, ensuring that all patient care meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Effectively coordinate and supervise nursing personnel involved in direct patient care, fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
  • Oversee and implement quality assurance processes to continuously improve nursing care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Actively participate as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, contributing your nursing expertise to support the organization's treatment philosophy.
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of patients, implementing protocols and measures to ensure their protection and comfort during their stay.
  • Mentor, coach, and facilitate the professional growth of nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Efficiently manage resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment, to optimize patient care.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients, addressing their concerns and needs while promoting their overall health and recovery.
