RN Manager – PACU
About The Position
Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced RN Manager – PACU to provide 24-hour leadership oversight for perioperative services, including Same Day Surgery, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), PACU, and Endoscopy. The RN Manager of PACU is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and directing daily departmental operations to ensure consistently high-quality, patient-centered care in the perioperative environment. This role emphasizes quality, respect, compassion, and safety while maintaining efficient patient flow, staff productivity, and regulatory compliance. The RN Manager is accountable for clinical practice oversight, human resources management (including staffing, scheduling, and evaluations), and financial stewardship. This position plays a critical role in optimizing surgical throughput, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, department-specific perioperative experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) or CPR through the American Red Cross
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Charge Nurse or supervisory experience in surgical services preferred
