Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • 2-3 years of RN experience preferred, ideally in assisted living or long-term care.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team member, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Support Clinical Excellence - Oversee assessments, care planning, and clinical services with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and best practices in assisted living and long-term care.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and consistency in care delivery.
  • Supervise & Develop Clinical Staff - Hire, train, and coach nurses and care staff while fostering a high-performing, compassionate culture.
  • Support ongoing education and provide leadership for daily direction, feedback, and problem-solving.
  • Build Strong Relationships Across Care Teams - Collaborate with Housing Administrators, Wellness Directors, Life Enhancement teams, and culinary leaders to ensure holistic, individualized support for every resident.
  • Promote Resident-Centered Living - Advocate for dignity, independence, and whole-person care by aligning clinical support with each resident's personal preferences and goals.
  • Coordinate with Providers & Families - Work closely with families, community healthcare partners, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth transitions, open communication, and excellent clinical outcomes.
