About The Position

Lead the planning and opening of a new General Care Pediatric unit and provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Pediatric Float Pool, supporting care for patients from newborn through adolescence. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Collaborate closely with unit leaders to anticipate staffing needs, maintain competency alignment across units, and drives quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes across all areas served by the float pool. Manage staffing and budget operations, including scheduling, FTE oversight, performance management, and operating budgets for both departments. Foster a culture of adaptability and staffing flexibility to support unit needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN), Required
  • Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience. Required
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership experience. Required
  • RN Licensed in State of Wisconsin. Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Preferred
  • Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience within same or relevant practice area. Preferred
  • Certification in relevant specialty. Preferred
