About The Position

Assists the Director of the unit with organizing, directing, and supervising the operational functions within the Emergency Department. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of clinical care, educational requirements required by NCOEMS and performance improvement processes. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associates degree is required
• Registered Nurse in North Carolina or Compact state is required
• BLS is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS is required within 30 days of hire
• PALS is required within 90 days of hire
• 1-3 years supervisory experience in the ED required
