About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking RN Manager – Emergency Room for an exciting job in Salem, VA.
Requirements
- Diploma/ADN required; BSN preferred or currently enrolled.
- Active VA RN license or compact eligible.
- AHA BLS required; TNCC, ACLS, PALS within 1 year.
- ER Management experience required (1 year = 1 year credit; Charge RN = 1 year; Staff RN = 1 year/3 years).
Responsibilities
- Manage daily unit operations in the Director’s absence, ensuring adequate staffing and resources.
- Lead recruitment, hiring, staff evaluation, orientation, and competency development.
- Develop and maintain unit standards, fostering open communication across departments.
- Facilitate orientation programs for new employees, students, and volunteers.
- Coordinate efficient patient care across multidisciplinary teams.
