Position has administrative responsibility for designated practices yet collaborates within an integrated healthcare delivery system. Has knowledge of community health concepts, principles of ambulatory clinical nursing care. Customers include, but are not limited to, regional leadership, physicians, providers, practice management, and staff. External customers include patients, and their caretakers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and the community. This position also develops plan to identify and reach short and long term goals and assure development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievements of financial performance. This position is expected to exhibit all Core and Leadership Behaviors along with Leadership Competencies. The scope of this role includes practice management of an outpatient ambulatory site. Management includes multiple specialties, clinics, and providers, The clinic operations will report directly to this role, and this role will have direct supervisory and managerial functions of the clinic's practice. Responsible for administration of business, financial and practice functions of the practice. Assists with the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further the delivery of services within the community Serves as a patient advocate as well as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission and Values. This position requires the skills and abilities to build collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the management team to fulfill his/her accountabilities. In addition, the incumbent serves as the liaison with each service line and joint venture within the clinic. Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. A key role of this position is to build strong relationships with physicians and associates to achieve high levels of patient and customer satisfaction.

  • 3 years experience in a healthcare related field with at least two years in management experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and have the skills to lead a small business
  • Have a track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics
  • Associate Degree
  • Registered Nurse license for Colorado
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  • Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
