About The Position

Position Summary:
The Nurse Manager has 24/7 leadership responsibility for all clinical, staffing, quality, and financial management for the critical care units. Ensures an effective patient care delivery system that is compliant and consistent with standards of practice. Implements strategies, processes, and standards to ensure operations support the key organizational and departmental initiatives such as quality of care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Promotes collegial relationships between the unit and other departments or disciplines across the Hospital.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science, Nursing
• Current CA RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Prior management experience in an acute care setting
• Knowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing management experience
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
