About The Position

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate. This is a fast paced breast imaging department.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Preferred experience in the specialty.
• Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
