About The Position
What We Do: We provide in-home private-duty nursing care for children between the ages of 0 and 20 years old. These children are medically and technologically dependent. Most have many other special medical conditions that require meticulous attention from skilled practitioners. Mission Statement – Improving the lives of children and families in the special needs community by providing exceptional healthcare in a safe, warm and loving environment. Requirements
- Current, unrestricted nursing license approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Nice To Haves
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional nursing services, including medications, as prescribed by a licensed physician
- Monitors for potential abuse or neglect situations and follows the regulated reporting guidelines for any suspected issues
- Monitors all aspects of health and safety within patient’s home
- Submits correct documentation after each shift performed
- Upholds aspects of HIPAA
- Maintains medical supplies as needed
- Available to parents for heath related questions and/or concerns.
- Maintains consistent and punctual attendance
- Upholds Company Policies and Procedures
- Supports organization’s goals and values
- Works well with other professionals
