Position Summary The RN or LPN provides skilled, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes in accordance with FFHC policies, State Nurse Practice Acts, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in state of employment (Compact license accepted where applicable)
  • New graduates welcome — training provided
  • Valid CPR certification (in-person, instructor-led skills check)
  • Knowledge of applicable Nurse Practice Acts
  • Clear background screening
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (where applicable)
  • TB screening (state-specific)
  • Hepatitis B screening (state-specific)

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric or homecare experience (not required)
  • Background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse may be required based on role.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care within scope of licensure (RN or LPN)
  • Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Monitor patient status and evaluate response to care
  • Report changes in condition to the physician and nurse supervisor
  • Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and medical needs
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities
  • Support team members during patient-specific orientations
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance standards
  • Attend required trainings and in-services
  • Communicate professionally with families, providers, and team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
