Location: Gateway Foundation Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Facility 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703 Schedule: Three 12-hr night shifts, 6:30PM to 7:30AM, and every other weekend Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for: Managing and executing all nursing duties from clients’ admission to program completion Consulting with clinical team members to develop and implement individualized substance abuse treatment plans Pursuing continual improvement of nursing function, underscoring ethics and consistent with regulatory standards Administering medications and assists physicians in conducting examinations and treatments as warranted Maintaining required client records related to assessments, diagnoses, and treatments Conducting educational classes and seminars for clients and staff concerning: health, medical issues, infection control and related topics Other duties as assigned Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities: Monitors clients self-administering medications and reactions to medication. Works with Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care according to physician orders, nursing care plan or established protocols. Conducts initial health screenings and assessments of clients’ medical needs. Assists physicians with client examinations or treatments. Charts vital signs, treatments performed and medications administered and maintains records
