About The Position

The RN/LPN Staff Nurse plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in acute care or specialized nursing units.
  • Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to identify changes in health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Document all nursing care and patient interactions accurately in medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols.
