As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse you'll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Wesley on Grand. You will conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects. Additionally, you will provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. Collaboration with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care is essential, including communicating with physicians and families. You will supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents is also a key responsibility. Finally, you will offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well-being and understanding of care plans.
