Requirements
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid.
Responsibilities
- Properly instructs and guides LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments.
- Completes initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions.
- Medication administration.
- Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols.
- Completes COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol.
- Provides medication education to clients.
- Coordinates and supports medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments.
- Maintains medical equipment in proper working order; maintains confidentiality and proper boundaries.
- Other duties as assigned.
