If so, Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare wants YOU on our team! We’re looking for dedicated professionals to help us deliver exceptional behavioral-health care. Positions Available: Registered Nurses (RNs) – Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adults in a residential behavioral-health setting. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) – Support patient treatment plans and assist with daily care needs. Police Officers – Helps ensure the safety of patients, staff, and facilities by responding to incidents, enforcing policies, and supporting a secure therapeutic environment.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN): Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code. All eligible applications shall be reviewed considering the following criteria: qualifications, experience, education, and active disciplinary record.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code; MDS certification issued by ANNAC (i.e. American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination). All eligible applications shall be reviewed considering the following criteria: qualifications, experience, education, and active disciplinary record.
  • Police Officer: Possession of certificate having successfully completed approved basic peace officer training program or completion of 20 yrs. active duty as peace officer per Section 109.78(D) of Ohio revised code; valid driver's license. Probationary period is one year. Note: Applicant must be able to successfully perform Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Program (OPOTC) Fitness Testing Entry Standards for New Recruits
  • Official transcripts are required for all post-secondary education, coursework, or degrees listed on the application. Applicants must submit an official transcript before receiving a formal employment offer. Failure to provide transcripts within five (5) business days of the request will result in disqualification from further consideration. Transcripts printed from the institution’s website will not be accepted. DBH reserves the right to evaluate the academic validity of the degree-granting institution.
