About The Position

The Clinic RN/LPN is responsible for patient care within the Clinic, performing a broad range of nursing, office, and laboratory duties to provide exceptional health and wellness services to those from birth to 105 years of age. The Clinic RN/LPN reports directly to the Clinics Operations Manager.

Requirements

• RN graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• Must have valid, current license by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
• Successful completion of hospital orientation for RN.
• Graduate of an accredited Practical School of Nursing for LPN.
• Current licensure by Missouri State Board of Nursing or compact state for LPN.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for LPN.
• Successful completion of orientation for Clinic LPN.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs; obtain medical history.
• Maintain required logs and information needed for quality control.
• Perform NOB History intakes.
• Triages patient phone calls.
• Oversee daily schedules.
• Assist receptionist duties as needed.
• Review referrals as needed.
• Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for clinic.
• Assist physician as needed in exams and procedures.
• Communicate with equipment representatives.
• Handle prior authorizations for medications, imaging, surgeries and procedures.
• Remove staples and change dressings as needed.
• Conduct time outs for procedures.
• Review labs.
