URGENT: RN / LPN – High-Acuity Pediatric Home Care (CCT Case) Family First HomeCare Location: Bowling Green, FL Family First HomeCare is urgently seeking experienced RNs and LPNs for a high-acuity pediatric home care case in the Bowling Green area. This is a critical staffing need in a historically difficult-to-staff location and requires a confident nurse with strong clinical skills. Available Shifts: Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (all nights) Days: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Clinical Care Includes: G-tube care Tracheostomy and ventilator management Seizure management Close clinical monitoring due to frequent hospitalizations Candidate Requirements: Active Florida RN or LPN license Strong experience with trach, vent, and seizure care High-acuity or critical care background strongly preferred Ability to work independently and manage complex clinical needs Not suitable for new graduates or nurses requiring preceptorship Additional Information: This role requires heightened clinical attention and consistency of care Why Family First HomeCare: One-on-one patient care Supportive clinical leadership Ongoing training and oversight Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a challenging case Immediate need – apply today. Requirements

  • LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
  • Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact where recognized
  • 1 years of demonstrated experience
  • Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states
  • Clear background screening
  • Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
  • Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in person instructor led hands on skills check
  • Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states
  • Clear TB Screening in applicable states
  • The ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for providing care that is based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice
  • Maintains an updated clinical record on each patient at all times , meeting required deadlines for documentation
  • E valuates the effectiveness of nursing service to the patient and family on an ongoing basis
  • Consults with physicians concerning alterations of patient care plans, documentation of changes in patient care and reports all changes in care to the nurse supervisor
  • Supports FFHC’s mission by mentoring and/or coaching new employees during patient specific orientations
  • Educates patients and their caregivers on topics related to patients' care needs
  • Participates in FFHC Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement program (QAPI) as requested
  • Continually strives to improve his/her nursing care skills
  • Attends and/or completes all mandatory training/ in-services as assigned
  • Submits required personnel file documentation in a timely manner
  • Adheres to FFHC compliance and ethics expectations
  • Maintains patient and family confidentiality
  • Maintains professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned
