The RN/Licensed Practical Nurse position at Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community involves monitoring patient care delivered by Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s) in the Nursing Living Area. The nurse will perform routine charting, including observations, responses to medications, and changes in patients' normal conditions. Responsibilities also include completing documentation for admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents, routinely checking on assigned patients, and noting any changes in their conditions. The nurse will notify supervisors, attending physicians, and families of significant changes in conditions or injuries, administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, oversee daily shift assignments, provide guidance to personnel, and assist physicians with rounds as needed. This position is available for full-time shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM or 11 PM to 7 AM.
