About The Position

RN - Lactation Consultant, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Mother Baby Unit. This is a full-time, night shift position with work hours from 7:00pm-7:30am with a weekend (every other weekend) and holiday rotation. Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse seeking a dynamic role that combines direct bedside patient care with specialized lactation support? We are looking for a skilled RN to join our team in a unique position that includes both bedside care shifts and dedicated shifts as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). In this role, you will provide hands-on nursing care, coordinate with the healthcare team, and ensure the well-being of patients during their hospital stay. You will also use your IBCLC expertise to educate and empower families, address infant feeding challenges, and guide new parents through their breastfeeding journey. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
