About The Position

I. Position Summary: Provides direct patient care in the Women’s Center. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians/CNM about changes in patient’s clinical condition including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in the Women’s Center with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities. Ensures appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare. II. Qualifications: A. Education & Training: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing B. Experience: None. Residency or Fellowship programs may apply depending on department and experience. C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current US state RN license with authorization to practice in the state of GA. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. NRP certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire. D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
