About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health – Temple is seeking a Full-Time Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join a highly engaged and collaborative IR team. Requirements

Active RN license
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital
Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to help get the work done
Dependable, punctual, and adaptable in a procedural setting
Graduate of an Accredited Program or (2) years of work experience above the minimum qualification
Candidates must be Registered Nurses(RN).
A (BLS) Basic Life Support certification is required or must obtain within (30) thirty days of hire

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for Interventional Radiology procedures
Support patients throughout the procedural experience, including pre- and post-procedure care
Assist physicians during IR cases and procedures
Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and nursing team members
Promote efficient workflow, patient safety, and high-quality outcomes
Prioritizing patient and family needs is crucial. Responsibilities involve developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Adjust as needed.
Making a safe place for patients, families, staff is vital.
This includes maintaining confidentiality and voicing patient concerns when necessary.
The successful candidate will manage learning for patients and families. They will help nursing staff grow. Knowledge sharing in the health care team and community is also promoted.
The perfect candidate partners effectively with team members and the community to implement a cohesive care plan.
The candidate must recognize limited resources and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
