The RN Internal Traveler position at Boulder Community Health is a full-time role focused on providing nursing care in the Cath Lab. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $80 - $90 per hour, depending on market conditions, and involves a 10-hour shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities. The contracts for this role are set for 13 weeks, and external applications are welcomed. It is important to note that new hires must not have been employed by Boulder Community Health within the last six months. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime for procedural coverage in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab when procedures run long. The on-call requirement is restricted to a 30-minute response time, and additional hours may be needed in the Cath Lab as assigned by the department. As an RN in the Cath Lab, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care in accordance with established nursing practices, procedures, and standards of care. You will enhance the quality and timeliness of patient care by collaborating with other healthcare personnel. Key responsibilities include reviewing pre-procedural tests to ensure patient safety, monitoring patient conditions continuously, administering intravenous sedatives for procedural sedation, and providing post-procedural care. You will also be responsible for calibrating and maintaining equipment necessary for safe and accurate test administration, as well as keeping all licenses and certifications up to date.
