The RN/Internal Agency is a temporary full-time assignment working on various units within Methodist Healthcare System. This is a 13 week assignment and the pay is $60.00/hour. The RN/Internal Agency is a temporary, full-time assignment working on various units. This resource pool will serve as a backup staffing initiative, supplementing the Central Staffing pool to address staffing shortages outside of University Hospital on an as needed basis. Responsible for the nursing care of patients requiring specialized judgment and skill. This judgment and skill is based on knowledge of the natural, behavioral and nursing sciences and humanities as the basis for application of the nursing process in wellness and illness care. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • 1-3 years of experience in an acute care environment
  • Two years of experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from American Heart Association
  • Registered Nurse license in Tennessee from Tennessee Board of Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification from American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification from American Heart Association
