Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • Previous critical care experience including but not limited to angioplasty, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, ICP, ECG interpretation, defibrillation, AICD, transcutaneous and transvenous pacing, physical assessments, transporting critically ill patients.
  • Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
  • Completion of a critical care course
  • Completion of BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and IV certification.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If not currently vaccinated, required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, unless a medical exemption is requested and approved.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care to patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures.
  • Assuming the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.
