Our Core Values: Be Kind | Trust and Be Trusted | Work Together | Strive for Excellence. Logan Health Medical Center has an opportunity for a Seasonal RN to join their team on night shift! This is a unique opportunity to advance your nursing career with a full-time commitment for 13 weeks in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment. As a Seasonal RN in our ICU, you'll care for critically ill patients with life-threatening conditions such as sepsis, multi-organ failure, ARDS, and complex post-operative complications. You'll also work with advanced life-support systems, including ventilators, CRRT, and ECMO, while gaining invaluable experience managing patients with acute trauma, advanced cardiac care, and neurocritical conditions.

Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position.
  • Open Heart nursing experience is preferred.
  • Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
  • Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each practice/service line.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Additional certifications may be required as applicable to assigned area(s).

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced, patient-centered care to the most critically ill individuals using your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes and ensure patient safety.
  • Support and educate patients' families during highly stressful and emotional situations, acting as a vital resource for understanding treatment plans.
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to deteriorating patient conditions in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring the highest standard of care for critically ill patients.
