About The Position
Qualifications: Have a desire and ability to work with a diverse skills aimed at passing the licensing exam for Massachusetts CNA The instructor must possess the ability to work with students fromMaintain accurate records on all students, including but notdevelopment, and concepts of good patient care. Further the examination of pertinent practices that are Registered Nurse License in Massachusetts; Two years nursing experience; At least 1 hear LTC experience; Ability to perform physical work with patients and students in Experience working in a diverse environment; Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved population. Excellent organizational skills;Skilled in teaching adult learners; Willingness to work on a flexible schedule to meet educational goals. Possess strong interpersonal skills;Ability to work independently. Final candidates are required to provide sealed transcripts and/orHiring is contingent upon a successful CORI clearanceResponsibilitiesprepare students for local and global citizenship, to meet criticalworkforce demands of communities, and to contribute to the regionsThey will also instruct students according to the curriculumTeach the course curriculum as outlined in the manual entitled,Nursing Assisting: A Foundation in Care Giving 5th Edition HartmanBuild knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at assistingEvaluate and document student progress through testing,observation, and assessment of skills attained;Communicate effectively with students, and all those affiliatedwith the course, including staff at clinical training facilities,Provide a stimulating environment that encourages studentSupport MassBays commitment to the Equity Agenda;collaborating with faculty, staff, and students on the Collegesstrategic initiatives dedicated to closing the equity gap relatedContribute to discussion and review of applicable Collegepolicies with a critical lens toward diversity, equity, andEngage with the Office of Diversity on issues related toEngage in conversations with colleagues and students regardingbest practices within the discipline or programmatic related toassign other duties as required to meet the needs and foster theAll employees of MassBay are expected to work collegially and
