Functions as a consultant for patients with complex draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers and fecal and urinary incontinence.

Requirements

Graduate of accredited school of nursing
BSN
Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational. Safety, and age appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department.
Field of Study in Nursing or currently enrolled in BSN program, with two years nursing experience in the past four years.
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
BCLS - Basic Life Support

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited program for WOCN or satisfactory completion of a program during first two years of employment encouraged and preferred.

Under general direction has authority, responsibility and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of ostomy/continent diversion care for patients on all hospital units.
Functions as a consultant for patients with complex draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers and fecal and urinary incontinence.
