About The Position

Full time, 0.9FTE day shift position with weekend and holiday requirements. Must be available all day, Mon-Fri, during a one-week pre-training period for hospital onboarding. Responsible to complete all department-specific education annually. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

Requirements

Required Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
American Heart Association BLS
Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.
Two hours of verifiable trauma-related education annually

Ability to perform repetitive tasks as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
Job tasks may involve exposure to: Bloodborne pathogens, such as blood, bodily fluids, or tissues. Radiation in settings where medical imaging procedures are performed Various chemicals and medications used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases due to contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses Emotionally challenging situations, such as dealing with distressed patients or difficult family interactions.
