As a Registered Nurse at The Orthopedic Hospital of Indiana, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients. This position is situated in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the care of patients who have just undergone elective surgeries, particularly in orthopedic services such as joint replacement and sports medicine. The typical patient stay ranges from 24 to 48 hours in a 37-bed unit, all of which are private rooms. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient vital signs, conducting head-to-toe assessments, performing dressing changes, administering IVs, developing care plans, obtaining samples, managing pain, and educating both patients and their family members about post-operative care.
