The Urgent Care RN will provide nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington ambulatory Nursing Care Standards, the Nursing Code of Ethics, and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington policies. The role involves coordinating and facilitating Health Care services for patients in various segments of the Health Care delivery system. The Registered Nurse is an integral member of the Health Care team, overseeing and participating in patient assessment and the formulation and implementation of the care plan. The position requires providing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment similar to a free-standing emergency department, catering to patient populations of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, and addressing a wide variety of chief complaints ranging from neurological, cardiac, and minor injury or illness. The RN must possess the ability to quickly prioritize and use critical thinking and clinical judgment to provide emergent and urgent care, while collaborating with providers and other Urgent Care staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
