About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Infusion Therapy will work at St. Catherine Hospital in Dodge City, a Joint Commission accredited 99-bed hospital that serves as a regional referral center for southwest Kansas. The hospital provides acute care services, including diagnostics, interventional cardiology, and cardiac rehabilitation, combining patient-centered care with modern technology and medical expertise. Nurses are considered the heartbeat of the organization, operating in a supportive, team environment with resources for professional growth and leaders dedicated to their success. Requirements

Associates Degree in Nursing required
Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates
RN License required
Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred for experienced RNs
One year experience preferred
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

Responsibilities

Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
