About The Position

Summary/Objective The Infusion Nurse is responsible for ensuring proper patient care by performing infusions and injections for biologic medications, maintaining documentation, managing supplies and equipment, and overseeing drug inventory procurement for patient appointments. Essential Functions Perform infusions and injections for biologic medications with thorough documentation of office notes. Prepare and administer medication accurately. Control and maintain supplies and equipment. Manage the procurement of drug inventory for patient appointments. Complete additional administrative paperwork in the EMR system to ensure patient care. Competencies Active state required license Experience with Electronic Medical Charting. Experience with specialty therapies including but not limited to Biologic medication infusion. BLS and ACLS certified or willing to obtain. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in computer skills for electronic documentation, email, scheduling, and communication. Strong work ethic and commitment to patient care. LPN/RN Work Environment This job operates in a professional medical office environment, utilizing standard office equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a per diem position.
