About The Position

The RN Infusion role at M Physicians is essential for delivering high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory care setting. This position involves both independent nursing responsibilities and delegated medical functions, ensuring comprehensive patient care through collaboration with healthcare providers and the care team. The RN Infusion is tasked with assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses, all while adhering to professional practice guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license
• BLS Certification
• Current national certification depending on area of specialty or the ability to obtain one within 18 months of start date
• Maintain Oncology Nursing Society's ONS Provider Card or obtain within 30 days of start date

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of acute care nursing and/or infusion or ambulatory care nursing experience
• 2+ years of experience in administering antineoplastic agents

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes
• Implements nursing interventions based on the plan of care
• Evaluates care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomes
• Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patients
• Performs other duties as determined by manager and clinic needs
