About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Infusion Center at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital is a part-time role focused on providing compassionate care to patients undergoing infusion therapy. Requirements

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing care experience required.
• Current Indiana Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification preferred within 6 months, required within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous oncology or infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during infusion treatments.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and care procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
