RN Infection Prevention Manager
About The Position
In collaboration with physicians, hospital staff, and leaders, the Infection Prevention Manager assumes responsibility for developing and assessing the organization-wide infection prevention program. In addition, uses an epidemiological approach to managing infection prevention through surveillance, data collection, analysis and trend identification. Join our team! QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Registered Nurse with current Colorado nursing license BSN by an accredited school of nursing Preferred: National Certification in Infection Prevention (CBIC Certification) or must obtain within 1 year of hire. Documentation of on-going continuing education activities specific to Infection Prevention Experience: Experience in hospital nursing and adult education Strong knowledge and experience with continuous quality improvement Strong computer skills required (word processing, spreadsheet, database), and familiarity with Meditech Working Conditions: Subject to many interruptions and irregular hours Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries May be exposed to infectious disease Requires judgment/action that may result in injury to an employee or patient SALARY RANGE $37.50 - $56.23/hour Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience. Requirements
