Our Expert Care. AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an In-Patient RN Nights for our hospice facility in Greensboro (Beacon Place). This position is full-time (36 hours) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00pm - 8:30am.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
  • One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems.
  • Establish patient/caregiver care goals.
  • Identify and implement interventions.
  • Work with attending physician to establish and implement medical plan of care for the patient.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient and caregiver, including providing emotional support and teaching.
  • Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations.
  • Supervise Hospice Aide on shift.
