Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license.
  • BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in telemetry or intermediate care nursing.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Intermediate Care/Telemetry Unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac and stroke patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Participate in shared governance and unit-based councils to improve patient outcomes.
