About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time, Days Position in the Intermediate Care Unit at Northwest Health - La Porte Hospital offers a new pay rate and requires full-time commitment of 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts from 7a to 7p. Weekend and holiday rotation is required, but no call is necessary. The position includes a relocation package for eligible candidates and benefits such as Medical, Vision, Dental, and 401k for both Full-Time and Part-Time roles. The IMCU RN provides direct and indirect patient care in a therapeutic manner focusing on a multidisciplinary approach, treating patients requiring a level of care higher than med-surg but lower than ICU. The unit currently accepts COVID patients, averaging between 4-10 at any time, and is a good environment for new RNs to build foundational skills.
