Our Pediatric Oncology Outpatient Clinic is a combination of Medical Oncology and Stem cell transplant patients. This patient population includes patients with Leukemia (ALL and AML), Brain tumors, Sarcomas (Rhabdomyosarcoma, Osteosarcoma, Ewing’s Sarcoma), neuroblastoma, and Wilms Tumor. The unit’s Stem Cell transplant patients include patients being treated for malignancies and or non-malignant diseases (such as Sickle Cell Disease, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia, SCID). The staff cares for patients of various ages; birth to 26 years of age in active treatment, and patients well into adulthood as part of the late effects program. Clinic services include follow-up appointments, infusions, procedures with and without sedation, and sick visits for our population.
