About The Position

This position is for a full-time Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Arkansas Children's Hospital, working the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role involves providing safe and effective patient and family-centered care for neonates and their families. The nurse will utilize their knowledge, skills, and experience to analyze, think critically, plan, prioritize, and organize care, make appropriate clinical judgments, and manage both routine and unexpected clinical situations. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this position.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas or Compact State.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a competent level of understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care.

• Participates in councils, committees, and hospital initiatives.
• Mentors, coaches, and teaches healthcare professionals and students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
