Job Posting Title: RN II - Fracture Clinic Location: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Manage, delegate, and coordinate quality nursing care Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with peers, departmental leadership, and the interdisciplinary team Demonstrate accountability for professional practice by participating in educational activities, maintaining clinical competency, maintaining licensure and certifications, and completing mandatory education in a timely manner Deliver family centered, child-focused patient care according to the nursing process Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based nursing practice to provide patient care Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, or competency validator Participate in departmental and/or hospital wide committees or task forces Participate in and support departmental and organizational change and provides suggestions Demonstrate the Scottish Rite CARE RITE values
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Current Texas RN license or eligible for a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- 2 or more years nursing experience required
- American Heart Association BLS required
- PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
- Competent in Windows OS and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
