About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at UAMS involves performing telephonic patient triage, assisting with patient consults and transports, and utilizing videoconferencing equipment for telemedicine operations. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
• Valid RN License.
• One (1) year of Registered Nursing experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and accountability.

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) years of Registered Nursing experience.
• Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.
• Phone Triage experience.
• Hospital Transfer experience.
• Case Coordination experience.
• Telephone etiquette experience.
• Labor and Delivery or High-Risk antepartum service experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient triage via phone or videoconferencing.
• Document interactions in the EMR.
• Manage inbound patient transports.
